To make form a more realistic project it's often just a matter of building up many small detailed parts that make up the whole car. I used the Photo Etched Scale Motorsport 1:12 Racing Harness set. I used this to replace the plastic buckles that are found in the kit. I feel that it looks a lot more realistic than the plastic buckles. For this project I used only Tamiya Paints. I painted Semi-Gloss Black (XF-1) on the seat. To start the racing harness, you have to assemble a metal part called center buckle. This part can be a little bit tricky. Using Super Glue As Filler
Using super glue as filler is a popular technique that has been used for quite some time now. A new twist has been added to this procedure that makes the process of finished sanding much better. The known technique involves making filler using super glue and baking soda. Also used is a product called micro balloons. These are very small glass beads.
